The Artwell is a gathering place for creativity, connection, storytelling, and belonging — created to support and celebrate Canada's artistic community, with a special focus on senior and emerging artists.
Designed as a welcoming and inclusive creative hub, The Artwell brings people together through visual art, conversation, storytelling, mentorship, and shared artistic experiences.
Created to address one of the greatest challenges facing artists today: isolation.
For many senior artists and arts workers, opportunities for connection, visibility, and creative expression become increasingly limited over time. The Artwell exists to change that.

A gallery model built for artists.
Unlike many traditional galleries that take commissions of 40–50%, The Artwell was created with artists in mind.
Participating artists contribute only a modest commission from sales, helping support Supporting Cast Canada's mission while allowing artists to retain the majority of their earnings.
This community-centered approach reflects our belief that artists deserve spaces that uplift them — not exploit them.
